We're looking for a fully licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the state of Texas who is ready to do meaningful work in a collaborative, values-driven, and refreshingly energizing environment. This is a W-2 employee position — not 1099 contract work.
Bonus points if you're trained in EMDR, IFS, or DBT.
Position Highlights:
- W-2 employment (not 1099) — taxes withheld, employee benefits, no self-employment tax burden
- Competitive pay splits
- Expected caseload of 30–32 client hours per week (scheduled)
- Referrals provided by a long-standing, established clinic — no outside advertising or caseload-building required
- Credentialing and billing handled in house
- Full-time reception support
- EHR paid for by the practice
- Annual CEU stipend
- Built-in consultation and on-site supervision
- Create your own schedule (full-time availability preferred)
- Paid time off that we require and encourage you to actually use
- Work alongside a team of passionate, friendly clinicians in a low-drama, high-fun environment
Ideal Candidate:
- Fully licensed in Texas (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW)
- Confident, compassionate, and comfortable working with a range of client needs
- Willing to work with a variety of populations, from older teens through adults
- A lifelong learner who stays curious about the work and keeps growing their clinical skills
- Grounded in strong ethical practice
- Protects their own self-care and work/life balance — we mean it, and we back it up with PTO you're expected to use
- Self-motivated and organized, with the follow-through to manage their own caseload well
- A clear communicator who can name what they want and what they need
- Energized by a challenging case rather than thrown by one
- Open to feedback and direction, and comfortable giving it too
- Team player who wants a practice that's social as well as clinical (yes, there are memes)
Training & experience we're especially excited about:
- EMDR training or certification
- IFS (Internal Family Systems) training
- DBT training
